NEW PIC!!!



Well not much is new to report. Our final papers are at the state and as soon as they return they will be off to the Consulate. It will feel great to finally be DTC after all these months. So in the meantime I have gotten a new picture. Yuan Jing is getting so big....new measurements are:

Weight: 10 kilograms
Height: 83 centimeters
Head circumference: 46 centimeters
Chest circumference: 44 centimeters
Length of the feet: 13 centimeters

Received the great news this afternoon that China gave us the pre-approval to go ahead and adopt Yuan Jing. Guess it is time to get the great paper chase going. Hopefully we won't have any tie ups with INS as we have had in the past.

Taking the Dive.

Today the first piece of paper left our hands...the LOI. For those unfamiliar with the adoption world, this is a letter stating you intend to adopt a particular child. In our case it is Hong Yuan Jing. The next hurdle and the first of our waiting is the PA...this is a form sent from China allowing us to proceed with the adoption.

MEET HONG YUAN JING

Yuan Jing, born on the 4th of April 2006. Shares a birthday with her big sister Regan. She is presently in Nanchang SWI, although living with a foster family. We will be returning to the same province, same city...and more then likely the same hotel.
